Where are you originally from? Where do you live now?
Fairless Hills, PA – born and raised.

 What is your current teaching role?
Currently I am the building substitute at Gladwyne Elementary School in Lower Merion School District. I enjoy being able to “wear many hats” and truly loving being able to teach Kindergarten through 5th grade. I am also in Graduate School currently working on a dual certification program in Reading Specialist Cert and ESL.

What do you love most about teaching?
I love the A’ha moment. When it finally clicks! I love seeing their excitement and it is so motivating for me.

What is one thing you can’t live without?
Music. Definitely. Any kind except rap or country. I can listen to music while doing anything!

 What are your 3 favorite activities to do when you’re not teaching?

I have recently gotten into kickboxing classes. I have being working out regularly, but really enjoy adding new workout routines. I am an avid reader. I am especially loving biographies right now, and of course, going to the beach.

Have you ever binge watched a tv show?
YES! Gilmore girls. The best.

If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would it be?
Italy. Specifically Rome with my sister. It’s been on our list. We love traveling together.

 What is a favorite tradition you have?

Every holiday season, my sister and I get matching holiday pajamas and call it “Sis Mis.” Its such a great day!

Who is your biggest inspiration?
My grandma. She has always found a way to be happy when times are hard. And I think that’s a wonderful way to live life.

 What advice do you have for kids struggling at school?

Never give up. The aha moment is coming!
