I love finding out how different students learn and make sure they are all reached in the lesson. The subject I enjoy teaching the most is reading and writing because I personally reading and not only teaching reading for pleasure.

YES…probably too many! Gilmore Girls. I can watch it any time of day and on repeat. It’s mindless and relaxing to me.

If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would it be?
Arizona! Not too humid and the area and landscape is so different from where we live in PA. I’ve been a few times… we went sightseeing, visited incredible National Parks and viewed terrain of different desserts and mountains. The art gallery walk is incredible.

For all holidays we go to my grandparents house in Havertown – I have a small family so we are all very close. Christmas is my favorite holiday and we would always stay over and wake up on Christmas morning together. Its something I cherish.

Who is your biggest inspiration?
My 7th grade English teacher. Becky Blair, teaches at Peirce Middle School. She was the one who inspired me to become an educator. She took an interest in all of her students interests and needs even outside of the classroom. I still keep in touch in touch with her even today!

What advice do you have for kids struggling at school?
Always ask for help!!! Asking is the biggest and hardest step. And you will be surprised at how teachers are always there to help and support!!!
