Where are you from?

I am originally from Lansdale and still live here. At some point I want to move downtown. Enjoying the suburb life right now and very close to the school I teach out, so it works out well!

Where/what are you currently teaching?

Went to and teach at Lansdale Catholic, Algebra 2 Statistics and Public Speaking. Currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Mathematics and a Masters of Science in Applied Statistics.  After that, I am interested in pursuing a PhD leaning towards Bio Statistics.

What are 3 words to describe you?

My friends would describe me as motivated, dedicated, and fun loving.

If you could learn any skill/hobby what would it be?

Right now, I am trying to learn Russian.  My sister got me a book on my birthday, and listening to Russian music and trying to teach myself.  Everything is SO different from their alphabet to their letters.

If you have 30 minutes of free time, what do you do?

I haven’t had 30 minutes of free time in forever.  But probably watching a baseball game, or playing with numbers and trying to keep my mind moving.

What is the best place you’ve traveled to?

Spain!  I was on a study tour, it was my first time out of the country and an incredible experience.  Loved immersing myself in the small cities and cultures and backgrounds of the locals.  Just a cool experience.

If you could spend time with anyone who would it be?

Katherine, my girlfriend.  Who is also a tutor on the Teacher Time To Go team.  And I’m not just saying this because she will read it, I truly enjoy every minute we spend together.

What advice do you have for kids struggling in school?

Everyone has different strengths. Your grades are not a reflection of your intelligence.  School is about finding your passion and challenging yourself.  Finding a way to believe in yourself.

Nick is a Middle and High School tutor on our team. He teaches Math and Spanish and is adept at report writing and presenting. He possess a Masters of Arts and Science in Mathematics and is currently working towards a Masters of Science in Applied Statistics.
