Where are you from?
I was born in Columbus, Ohio. I had the pleasure of living in many states. However the past ten years I’ve resided in Pa.
Where/what are you currently teaching?
I currently teach at (PMCS) Philadelphia Montessori Charter School. I teach 1st & 2nd grade. I also teach a 2nd grade Wilson Reading group.
What are 3 words to describe you?
Social & spiritually conscious, encouraging, and a people person
If you could learn any skill/hobby what would it be?
To become fluent in several different languages

I can be very adventurous: zip lining, parasailing, horseback riding, etc
If you have 30 minutes of free time, what do you do?
All depends on the day and my mood. Eat, pray, exercise, socialize with friends…

What advice do you have for kids struggling in school?
To keep trying, effort and determination always leads to something great. You will not always get it right, none of us do. It is important to know that people learn in many ways, which is perfectly fine. That’s actually how it should be since we are all different. What matters is your effort and your persistence. You want life to be a continuous learning process.
