Working on new ideas and playing basketball at 19th street and 34th street.

My father. Rest in Paradise.
o What advice do you have for kids struggling in school?
Be open to admitting to the struggles and asking for help. I know it’s not easy for everyone to ask for help but in the long run the benefits outweigh the costs and it takes a village to grow the right leaders.
James is a proud graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor’s Liberal Arts and concentration in World History. He has been working in various educational capacities in Philadelphia for over 14 years. As a first generation non-traditional student at the collegiate level, James uses his experiences to connect with students in writing spaces challenged with navigating the processes and presented when entering higher education. James’s philosophy is centered in cultivating strengths of young people academically while embracing their weaknesses as avenues to take ownership of in order to prosper.
